Scripture Reading:  2 Timothy 3:1-5 and 11-17, Especially 2 Timothy 3:17

That the man of God may be thoroughly furnished.  We can be “thoroughly furnished” by Heaven!  God provides all these things for the believer, for us!  The World was made for us because God wanted fellowship with what we are.  We can’t grasp the great love of God, that HE was willing to build this World, that HE might receive some who were willing to give their hearts to HIM.

Brother Freedom tells the story of how just after he received Jesus into his heart, at the age of nine years, he was in school a few days later and a troubled bigger kid pulled a knife on Brother Freedom.  The bigger kid threatened to kill Freedom.  Only a week before that Brother Freedom had nearly drowned in a local creek.  Another older boy pulled him out of the waters just in time.  But as Freedom saw that he was about to drown he chose Christ.   He was saved from the creek and the next Sunday he gave himself to Jesus at his church.  Then here was this bully with a knife.  Suddenly Freedom’s hands flew like lightning and the bully lay unconscious at his feet.  Here comes the Principal of the School.

God is that ever present help in the time of need.  Now is when we need God, right now!

As Freedom is delivering this message the power of the Holy Ghost suddenly surges upon Brother Freedom.  Jennifer (one of our local congregation) is not present, but home, ill and in pain.  Brother Freedom prays a powerful prayer directed by the Holy Spirit HIMSELF.   When Micah, Jennifer’s husband, arrives home after church he finds Jennifer totally healed and out of pain.  The power of God is so awesome!

Brother Freedom recalls when in the Korean War he was ordered to blaze a path through a mine field with his bull dozer.  They tell him he probably won’t make it, but he must try anyway.  Trip wires brake, but no mine explodes.  God takes him through the field of death unscathed.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and JESUS can be your friend!  Brother Freedom re-tells the miracle of a letter in  his pocket, on the way to Korea, as he stopped in Japan.  That miracle letter changes him from an infantrymen to a member of an engineers battalion.  He won’t have to fire a single shot, but will do what he enjoys.  He will build roads and run a dozer.

Freedom shares how he is called by God to the bedside of his dying brother in a coma.  The brother has only two or three hours to live.  God keeps his brother alive until Freedom travels the four hours to the hospital.  Freedom then prays in the Spirit of God, in his brother’s hospital room for two hours and 35 minutes.  His brother comes out of the coma, is healed and goes home well.

There is no God like the God whose Son is Jesus Christ!

We all need holiness.  We all, without Jesus, are on a road to a place so terrible.  That awful place is beyond description!  But, in Christ we are headed for a place that is beyond our imaginations.  A place of total goodness and joy.

Christians are starting to get full of doctrines of devils!  They are being misguided.  Churches are getting more and more “churchy.”  But, those churches are not so holy!  Churches are trying to lead God instead of letting God lead them.  The churches have had a stroke!

Prayer meetings are NOT a time to compare notes.  We, as Christians, are NOT to be comparing notes, but preferring our brothers and our sisters in Christ.

Brother Freedom shares how he was delivered from terrible headaches.  The Holy Ghost came upon him and he was given authority to order the headaches to cease.  He tells us that sometimes we have to speak with the oracles of God.  Only the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost can bring us to that level.

When we start fellowshiping with church goers who believe NOT in the move of the Holy Ghost, we are denouncing the fact that God is God and that God is holy.  We begin to put more emphasis on “not hurting someone’s feelings.”  But, we can inadvertently cause people to miss the way when we protect their feelings over the directives of God.

It takes the drawing of the Holy Spirit to get a person saved and to bring them into the deeper walk.  We cannot manipulate people!  There are a lot of church goers who have never been truly saved because they have been manipulated into religion.

God showed Brother Freedom a vision of a million dead babies and it wasn’t about abortion.  God told him the vision was about Christians who had been misguided and miss-used by the mechanical church.  The result was that they totally lost out with God.

Freedom explains how a new believer must be nurtured and pointed toward the deeper life in God.

Our money, here in the U.S.A. says “In God We Trust.”  But, the churches have so indoctrinated us for generations, but the Nation has no trust in God!  The churches have failed!

Freedom shares the miracle of the five plum trees that God’s wind untangled from several utility lines.  The power company was after Freedom to get a tree surgeon out to remove those trees.  But God did it through a chain saw and a mighty roaring wind storm.

Freedom shares how God directed him to join the Army and go to Korea.  While in army training he was called many evil names because he chose to live a pure life for the Lord.   However, when he came out second in physical fitness from 1600 men that all changed and he was respected.

Freedom speaks about being a good soldier for Jesus.

We need to eat the Word of God and we need to get full of the Holy Spirit.  It takes both the Word and the Spirit of God.  We cannot be successful for the Lord with only one.  We must have both the Word and the Spirit in fullness.

We are all on assignment by the Lord God.

Make sure that your church is giving you direct truth and revelation from Heaven and not from men.  As Brother Freedom often says, “The churches are not listening to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”
